The Noroian family first broke ground in the Colorado River Valley in 1948, drawn by the promise of the desert's rich alluvial soils and the life-giving waters of the Colorado River. What began as a single-family farming operation has grown into one of the region's most respected multi-generational farms.

For over 75 years, the Noroian name has meant one thing in Blythe, California: quality. Whether it's the cotton fields stretching toward the Palo Verde Mountains, row after row of onions and garlic, or the carefully managed hay operations — everything that leaves our farm carries that commitment.

Today Nish Noroian Farms continues the family legacy — growing premium crops, serving dairies and international buyers, and now bringing that same quality directly to local buyers through this inventory platform.

Our Journey

A Legacy Built by Hand

1948

The Beginning

The Noroian family establishes roots in the Colorado River Valley near Blythe, California. Drawn by the region's fertile desert soils and reliable irrigation from the Colorado River, they begin building a farm from the ground up.

1960s–1980s

Growth & Diversification

The farm expands its operations across the valley, adding crop varieties and building the infrastructure — equipment, storage, irrigation systems — that would define the modern operation. Cotton becomes a cornerstone crop.

1990s

The Next Generation

A new generation grows up on the farm, learning every aspect of the operation from the ground up — from irrigation management to harvest coordination. The farm continues to evolve while staying true to its roots.

2000s–2010s

Specialty Crops & Expansion

Nish Noroian Farms adds teff hay and specialty vegetable crops including onions and garlic. The operation grows to serve commercial dairies and export markets, building a reputation for consistent quality and reliability.
